AI Automation Specialist (Claude-Focused) – Freelance/Contract

We are seeking a skilled and certified AI Automation Specialist to join our growing team on a contract/freelance basis. In this role, you will work directly with businesses across various industries to identify automation opportunities, design intelligent AI-powered solutions, and implement workflows that significantly improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong, hands-on experience with Claude (Anthropic) and related tools, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical, scalable AI solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through every stage of their AI adoption journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify workflow inefficiencies and automation opportunities
• Design and implement end-to-end AI automation solutions, with a strong focus on Claude AI (Anthropic) and Claude Code
• Develop advanced prompts, prompt chains, and system-level configurations optimized for Claude
• Integrate Claude with existing tools, APIs, and platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, internal systems)
• Build and optimize workflows leveraging Claude alongside complementary tools like OpenAI GPT or Google Gemini when needed
• Document processes, create implementation guides, and train client teams on AI-powered workflows
• Monitor deployed solutions, iterating based on performance metrics and feedback
• Stay up to date with Claude ecosystem updates, best practices, and emerging AI capabilities
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience implementing AI or automation solutions in a business environment
• Strong experience with Anthropic Claude (required); certifications in Claude, OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar are highly preferred
• Proven ability to design and optimize workflows using Claude-based solutions
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering specifically for Claude, including long-context handling and structured outputs
• Experience integrating AI tools via APIs and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote freelance setup

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Claude Code for structured development and workflow automation
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or low-code/no-code tools
• Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks using Claude
• Exposure to other LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini) for hybrid solutions
• Consulting or client-facing experience across multiple industries
• Portfolio of AI implementations (case studies or demos preferred)
