- Communicate with Facilities Coordinators and Project Supervisors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the required works.
- Respond to and incorporate Quality Assurance feedback to maintain alignment with required building standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years in Construction Estimating or Quantity Surveying, with a focus on residential fit-outs or refurbishments.
- Proven experience in Home for the Aged, Residential Care, or working with Facilities Providers is highly regarded.
- Previous experience with Australian estimating standards or work history with Australian construction firms is a significant plus
- Advanced ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and detailed scopes of work.
- High level of competence in estimating software (e.g. Cubit, Bluebeam Revu, CostX, Xactimate, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical reasoning and the ability to maintain consistency while managing significant workloads.
